Stamping Blues

Life is funny sometimes. When you sit at the table willing some brilliant idea to pop into your head, your mojo sometimes takes a vacation. And then there is the time when there is work going on, really really dusty noisy work and it does not give you ANY option to go anywhere near your crafting table, your mojo is on overdrive! 😀 This is what happened to me today. Some horrible work going on near my small craft table and so was itching to get going. And then kids, dinner…..ho hum! 🙂

Made this card as it was the simplest to begin with! 🙂 Entering it for OLW 47 hosted this week by Jennifer. She had a sketch that we have to follow and obviously it has to be one-layer card.

Used PTI Fancy Flourishes for the background in Archival Gold ink and Ippity Quotes a’la Happy for the main stamp+sentiment. Hand drawn zigzags, which I hope gives some dimension to the main stamp. Slightly crooked but hey, first time with masking and playing with cling stamps is harder than it looks! 🙂
