Wonderfully Fantastic!

Hello there! Hope your are having a weekend better than last week πŸ™‚

A very quick post today with a card for three challenges….love it when that happens! πŸ™‚ We had an extended power cut today so posting this before I lose power again!

PDCC #135, Freshly Made Sketches # 38, For the Love of Crafting challenge #6

1. Use a bow on your project.
2. Use some form of stamping other than stamping the sentiments
3. Use a sentiment/flower or both on your card.

Though the PDCC colors look fab, I found it tough to put it together. Either I could not find the paper or could not come to a harmonious layering of the colors. Finally settled on this layout and color pattern.

Gave the base paper some texture and the middle panel with a white gel pen. A Paper Smooches image (my first buy!) and the sentiment from the new series at Archivers called Words to the Rescue. Some lovely sentiments in their series! πŸ™‚

Made a small circular mask and stamped with the BG Basics – Text Style. The small marks are of my temporary glue 😦 I used glue glider pro….any suggestions for a brand that will not leave marks?

This is the sentiment…cute eh? πŸ™‚ The down side to this stamp set is that the etchings are not very high so the ink goes all over the acrylic stamp. Havfta be careful not to get smudges when stamping.

Righto! Need to link this up before I cross deadlines! πŸ™‚ Appreciate your stopping by! And many thanks to all of you who leave me a comment! Welcome anytime! πŸ™‚
