HB 2 U

This is my second post for the day. Do scroll down to share my happiness! 🙂

After the excitement of the Cream in the Coffee, thought it was time to churn out a card for the day considering that I was challenging myself to do the April challenges at 365 Cards 🙂 Went quite out of my comfort zone with this one but quite chuffed about how it turned out! 🙂

Color scheme at 365 Cards

Day 36, April 5 2011

Mojo Monday #185

Combined two challenges and surprised myself with the results too! 🙂 Inspiration for the card came from my fav, Mary Fish’s card. Just love her clean lines and bold colors 🙂

This is by far the most complicated card I have made to date! LOL! Most layers ever used by me too! Used PTI Birthday Bash sentiment and stamps on the white card with the candle and star images, diecuts Priya Venkat shared with me, local ribbon and flowers, and BLING! :)How do you like my scalloped edge? Patiently punched out circles and stuck them neatly! Well….almost! 😀 Oh. And a beautiful star button! 🙂

  1. Wow! Punched out circles… I am definitely NOT that patient! Can’t argue with the result, though… looks great! 😀

  2. Priya Venkat

I’ve done that ‘sticking circles to make scallops’ thingy and it takes an aweful lot of time and patience. Discarded the idea after just one attempt and invested in scallop die. Your card rocks!

  3. you have the patience of a saint on that scalloped border! looks perfect, however. thanks for the shout out and kind words. i love what you did and feel this card is all about YOU. hugs, mary

  4. Such a fun card design, and the orange really pops!
