Happy Birthday!

Nope. No one’s birthday yesterday, today or tomorrow! 🙂 It is the challenge at Simon Says Stamps Challenge this time — Happy Birthday! Could not get more fun and so HAD to go for it! Always good to have birthday cards in the stash 🙂

Been wanting to do a rainbow theme for a while but did not translate it onto the card. This time I jumped into it before the sketch or the layout or the colors came into focus. Stuck the rainbow colors and took it to Priya Venkat, who kindly cut out squares with her nesties. Then came the color alignment and the layout. Tried to make sure the gradation was as close to the vibgyor sequence as possible.

So. This is what I got in the end. The rest of the card was too plain so decided to go with all purpose and beautiful butterflies.

Used my butterfly punch and added TWO of them! Sentiment from PTI Birthday Bash and trail with microtip pen.

What say?? 🙂
