Splash of color!

The challenge…. Color Splash!!! The true meaning of ‘color splash’… black and white with a splash of ONE color!

PDCC #71

CPS #207

Two challenges – Card Positioning Systems #207 and The Play Date Cafe #71.

Splash of color gave me an idea to make and send a card for our dear Rotary friends in Christchurch, New Zealand. Thought a splash of color in their otherwise grey lives today, thanks to the devastating earthquake, would give them some hope and smiles. 🙂 You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

It is so much easier for me to visualize and plan a card if I can attach a name to it. A recipient in mind is way easier to handle and the card comes together rather quickly! 🙂

Local cardstock, flowers from Itsy Bitsy, PTI Beyond Basic Borders sentiment, Fiskars Texture template sponged with color, and BLING! 🙂 Thought I would keep the card cheery but understated for obvious reasons. Lemme know what you think! 🙂
